What is High Beams?
One Saturday.
Three screens.
High Beams takes over the West Wind Drive-In, the only drive-in in town, for a free afternoon and night presented by Green.
From 2 to 5 the lot is a festival: a car show, lucha libre, a vendor market, DJs and food trucks. At 5:30 all three screens start a movie, and you watch from your car with the sound on your FM radio.

The front rows of Screen 3 are held for show cars: classics, muscle cars, imports and tuners, lowriders, trucks and exotics. From 2 to 5, the whole festival walks your row.
Space is limited, so every entry is reviewed. Bring the car you'd want parked next to yours.

Stay for the movie
How the day goes when your car is in the show, from load-in to the last movie.
Before 2 PM
Roll in
Approved cars load in before the gates open and park in the front rows of Screen 3. Your load-in time and gate come with your approval.
2 to 5 PM
The show
Gates open and the crowd walks the rows. Stay with your car and talk shop, or lock it up and see the rest of the festival.
All afternoon
The rest of the festival
Lucha libre takes the ring at Screen 1 from 3 to 4:30 PM. There's a vendor market, DJs until sundown, and food trucks along the side aisles, all a short walk from your car.

The drive-in sign lights up and the lot settles in for the night.
5:30 PM
The car movie
Screen 3, the screen behind the show, plays the car movies, picked by vote. Show cars stay parked, so tune your radio to the Screen 3 station and watch from your spot.
